Embera Quera en Alianza con el INADEH

Embera Quera, in alliance with INADEH and its program to strengthen local capacities, began the OUTBOARD MOTORS course, with the intention of providing a better service to visitors through the maintenance and repair of outboard motors. This course will last 300 hours where you will be taught how to repair outboard motors, with Instructor Joel Pacheco. Thanks to the INADEH programs and the management of the national and regional governments of Colón for believing in Entrepreneurial communities.

This January 8, 2023, the XVI Anniversary of the community.

This Sunday, January 8, 2023, the XVI Anniversary of the community was taking place, where we will share a day as a family with the general public. On this occasion we will have, like every year, Embera gastronomy, traditional dances, and Ancestral Games as part of the gathering, there will also be body painting (jagua), sale of crafts, and strong chicha (Chinango). Importantly for the participants who will be in both the male and female competitions there will be prizes.
